Early signing period

What is going on right now in recruiting is the reason we need a early signing date. When its get down to then end and some schools are not getting who they want ,under the table deals start to happen. It happens ever year that why we have so many flipping. Just looking for other thoughts on this issue. Save the stupid remarks not needed right now

I'm split on Early signing. It may help coaches some and may help kids some, but the shady stuff will still happen at the last minute.

It would just lead to more kids trying to wiggle their way out of LOI, especially if there was a coaching change. Teams aren't changing coaches in February or later unless there's a scandal or something.
I mean we already have a guy like Mitchell Robinson in basketball for WKU who signed a LOI, only to possibly have his coach leave.

Your right, but he the rule would state if the head coach leaves before signing you can pull back your letter. But only if the head coach leaves

It would be good to have an out, but I think that's a slippery slope. What if the guy's position coach leaves? Or his main recruiter? To a lot of guys, that person is more important than the head coach. Jacoby Stevens would not be going to LSU if Austin Thomas didn't return to the staff for instance.
I'm for an early signing day, but there are countless pros and cons for adding one. Just thought I'd throw out one of the main cons IMO.

Hell we have early signing for all the other sports don't see why we don't have football also. Just makes since.
