I say without a qb and losing our defensive coach, another 8-4 season with another meaningless bowl game that nobody wants to watch on a weekday.
Thanks LES!

10-2 seems like a fair early prediction

DeSean Smith leads the team in receiving TDs.

You didn't predict anything. You simply regergitated what tRant has said since Chavis left.

These are the threads we could do without. They should be deleted immediately and you should be banned from posting.

There is no substance to your post. You just randomly shout out that LSU will suck. Les Miles automatically sucks because YOU predict a 8-4 season before fall practice even begins.

Most everyone else doesn't have proven guys either. Bama, Auburn, UGA, Ole Miss, all are breaking in new guys.

I'd be OK with your opinion becoming reality.

Go take a look at the rest of the teams in the SEC and name all the ones with "proven" quarterbacks.

We don't know how the Jennings situation will play out. He has a years worth of starting under his belt, and if he is the QB that is chosen to start then I would expect to see improvement from him.

Harris does not have the experience, but he did show flashes of being of good QB as a TRUE FRESHMAN. I would expect him to take big leaps during this offseason and come back as a much improved QB.

BTW...The first time I have ever used the up/down vote function was on you. That's how shitty I think your post is.

First three games could produce a 3-0 or a 1-2 LSU football team. So much hinges on the early part of the schedule.

If you're counting on Jennings to be a future QB of this team then it could be even worse.

But what if it produces a 2-1 LSU football team? Will it still be doom and gloom the rest of the way? Will only the hardcore negatigers jump off the sinking ship at that point, while the rest of us hang on with hope?

I could live with a 2-1 start. Still have to navigate the USC/Florida combo in October and a brutal November.

You really are as idiotic as your original post.

If you go back and look two years on this web site, when Mett was LSU's starter and breaking records, there were people on this board that wanted to see Jennings play because they thought he was even better. Now, insert Jennings into the starting spot, still as a very young player, and all of a sudden the next back up QB is the second coming of Mr. Football.

If you are too ignorant to notice the trend, which I would assume you are, the back up QB at LSU is ALWAYS the greatest QB since sliced bread. If Jennings gets booted from the team then whoever is second string behind Brandon Harris will become the new "star who never plays because Les is too stubborn to pull his starting QB", and BH will just be another QB that is given up on as a young pup.
