I am so excited he is going to be back this year. I feel like with an actual Defensive Line and pass rush he will be a turnover machine. I am wondering if Steele will blitz him often or keep him in coverage. What do you guys think?

His strength lies more as a blitzer and less in coverage, although he'll do both.

If Thomas is healthy, he is a Honey Badger Lite. I love his play making abilities.

He was playing VERY well last year - in coverage, too. He was very physical. If not for the injury I'd bet on him to start this year. Hopefully he recovers well. If so, the pros will like him.

Anyone know how the recovery is going? Will he be back in pads for fall practice?

I remember it was a nasty accident when it happened. Looked bad anyways. Hope he is going to be back on the field as he was a very good performer for the Tigers.

IMHO when he's ready to go he'll play safety. It will be less stressful on his knee. Actually he plays like an in the box safety now instead of a corner.

He and a more seasoned Adams together are going to be sick. Them being on the field together in Nickel and Dime will really be a matchup problem for most offenses, because they can both get into the backfield and wreak havoc. Lots of toys in the toy box for Steele to play with.

If he's in the Alabama game last year, LSU wins. He would have made the sack on Blake Sims that Jalen Mills missed on in the closing seconds around midfield
