The problem is not the pitchers it's Dunn's pitch selection

So Dunn is calling balls to be bounce on the plate or missed by two feet?

Ever since they've dumbed down the bats, they pitch to contact and that is PM's philosophy.
It keeps pitch count down.
Bertman must lose it everytime he sees LSU pitchers throw really good 0/2 or 1/2 strikes.

The rant knows more than every single coach at LSU. Alleva should hire the rant actually. Then the complaining would switch from coaches to shitting all over the players even more.

The problem is two-fold. I've seen several lsu pitchers miss spots today. In fact I think Reynolds may have hit pap's target maybe twice. Which leads to the 2nd part. Why can't a 4-year pitcher under Dunn execute pitches on a more consistent basis?

Poche and Reynolds were missing spots all afternoon. You cannot blame that on the guy calling the pitches.

The team ERA is very very poor in just SEC play.

We are talking about 9-11 in the league bad.

I can place some blame on him if he's the guy that's supposed to get these guys ready to execute those pitches. If they're not he needs to call pitches they can execute or correct some mechanics that will allow them to. And if they can't do that then maybe he needs to urge the head coach to put someone else in sooner. I truthfully don't think Dunn comes out often enough to talk to the pitchers.
