1. Its in the path of Harvey and if they get flooded, then kiss this game goodbye.

2. This screws over the BYU fanbase. We just went from it being a 80/20 LSU/BYU to a 97/3 LSU/BYU. We better get a return game out of this.

3. This became a defacto home game for LSU. Should have moved it to Dallas or Phoenix.

4. I wouldn't be surprised if this game gets cancelled due to flooding in New Orleans and we see the folks running this show as the idiots they are.

Your #1 and #4 are practically the same reason supporting your "dumb" argument.

#2 and #3 dont matter. Ill give you half credit for #1

They waited pretty long to make sure New Orleans wasn't going to get a lot of rain.

I'm surprised they didn't wait until tomorrow just to be completely sure, but still.

Yeah, who cars if it screws over the BYU fan base. Keep supporting the perception as SEC being the paper tigers they are.

It will be fine by Saturday

Life goes on

80/20 to 90/10 is that even a big deal?

Dude we have fewer home games this season than anyone else so get over it.. we now have to travel to Florida two straight seasons and have lost out on a game the last two seasons. At least this is in a dome.

BYU is gonna get slaughtered no matter where the game is played. What's the problem?

So blame ESPN? Houston and NOLA aren't much different fwiw. Also, your team sucks....and you know that. Doesn't matter where game played.

Hard pass. There isn't enough alcohol in Utah support even 5,000 LSU fans.

Fair, but recent models have it moving to north LA

Don't have official totals, but LSU alumni in Houston actually outnumber LSU alumni in New Orleans per some reports. at the last part.

It was a de facto home game to begin with

They reached out to the Cotton Bowl, Orlando, Jacksonville, Nashville. Didn't work out. Not LSU's fault, this was all ESPN, Advocare.
