Not sure how far along he is with his development but I think he could provide an interesting matchup in the slot even though he'll probably eventually project as a #1 WR.

Consider him almost like a TE that's split out wide. If we could utilize his size in the middle of the field as a target I think that would take some pressure off of the run game. They'd have to bring in a nickel corner because there is no way a LB could cover him IMO.

Once he learns to run routes he will be dangerous

You're asking our offense to do too much

1. We have a slot receiver?

2. If no, he can't run in a straight line?

These what? Ideas that will never be implemented in a game?

Wouldn't Chark be that guy right now? Size with blazing speed- a matchup nightmare 1 on 1 vs a 3rd string CB or safety

Are we allowed to use more than 2 man routes? What percentage of our passes are completed to a slot receiver? IDK and don't care to look it up, but it seems like it would be a very low percentage.

I'd have to think that Davis has a bigger catching radius and can probably high point some balls. Since we know Harris is high on some throws this could help him out.

Miles won't change I know but why not put them out there in practice and say where doing 100% of the reps in passing downs. My god these boys practice the run 70% Of the time for past 2-3 years or more. They got the run down coach. Make em throw all the time till they get it right!! This isn't rocket science l! If a baseball team isn't faakn hitting u out em in the cage Untill they hit

Once Miles fields more than two receivers we will be dangerous.

Did you not see us in a 2 wide set 95% of the game? It doesn't matter who plays the slot

As good as it sounds when you throw out a name and talk about the potential in a different position. It's also just a reminder that it will never happend and we are screwed in the innovation and O-scheme department.

Yes I did.

I'm hoping when they break down the film they realize that we have some liability with the TEs blocking on the edge and utilize more 3 WR sets.

But I might as well wish for Charlize Theron to walk into my house and ask me if I'd like to get blown.

Well certainly they do break down film

With all the short comings the coaching staff might have it's not like they're just winging it and playing sandlot ball
