Dude is a stud. This offense is made for him. Went to Stanislaus for a couple of years before transferring to IMG.... he's our 3rd stud after Guice and Chark... feedback from anyone who has watched him?

Dillon is the one that's getting a lot of early hype from camp.

Big, tall, athletic,... with Canada's deception, all he needs is a crease...IMO

From my recollection his weaknesses coming out of HS were route running and catching. Any word on his progression in those 2 areas?

I haven't heard anything about Dillon, but I have heard a ton of hype on Drake Davis.

I hope so. He clearly has the measurables and a built in fan club on here judging by all the threads. We haven't seen much so far from any of the WRs not named Chark. Time for two or three to step up.

It's them. Those under the radar guys that are about to explode this year...

This LSU team is going to surprise a lot of people and you would of thought it would be outside of our fanbase. Actually I'm starting to think most of these haters aren't even real LSU fans.

Watch how different this entire team is this year and the folks that doubted the whole time, should be given hell for it. To the dismay of many coach O will prove to be 10 times the coach Miles was. The things he talks about are the exact things I have been saying forever needs to change at LSU.

Ball awareness in all 3 phases, teaching our WRs/QBs what the jump ball is, back shoulder pass, play as a unit not individuals, toughness, have our hot weather become an advantage, creativity on offense, ST to be more aggressive, our defense always looking for ways to get the ball, and all these things are now being taught relentlessly. O is going to impress people this year.

It's going to be the most complete team we've ever seen at LSU. He knows what LSU needs and he's going to bring it. The players are going to love him for it. The haters will have to deal with the guy they hate for a while and I get a kick out of it. Let it rain

Drake is a great athlete, but there aint a badder dude on this roster than Dee Anderson.

If he can get his head on straight he is the next Julio Jones. Bookmark it.

I think Drake will have a year like Chark did last year and possibly better. I think all our WRs are going to show improvement mostly because we are going to use them at their strengths.

People just don't realize how much different this offense will be to the previous. It's going to make a tremendous improvement to our team as a whole.

LSU is now emphasizing ST play and how important it can be while also emphasizing TOs. Teaching stripping techniques, and where to be to increase the chance of an interception. Look how good the VT teams were back when they played elite D coupled with aggressive ST play.

Add Canada to the mix and we will be actually scheming to score in each phase of the game. We are cleaning up the roster getting rid of the lazy and bringing in guys who want to work hard on and off the field.

I think O from the outside saw what LSU needed to clean up and what was working. Hes now changing the things that needed to be changed. HTT

So 20 NCG appearances, winning 10, and 30 SEC-CG appearances, winning 20?

I'll take that all day long.

How the frick are you a WR if your weaknesses are route running and catching? The only other fricking thing you do is block on a run play.

haven't heard anything about Dillon,

"Chark hints at a breakout player … Two seasons ago, fans got a taste of what D.J. Chark could bring to the table as a receiver. Last year, it was Russell Gage who emerged out of left field as a starter at receiver. Who might the next name up be? When Chark was posed the question this week, he went with sophomore Derrick Dillon. Chark said Dillon has already turned in some big catches in camp so far, and he’s primed now to move into meaningful minutes at receiver."

There is something good to say just about every receiver. Drake and Dee Anderson should give all teams trouble with their speed, size, good hands, jumping, etc...

While other small receivers have speed and quickness to play in the inside slot.

Not if you believe the folks who say he is undisciplined, unfocused and inconsistent but has the most pure athletic skill of all the WR.
Talent only takes you so far. You must have the discipline and dedication to be the best.
It would be great if he lived up to his potential.
