Why didn't saban take the Texas job if all these coaches want the easiest route to a title?
Because, for one thing, your assertion is completely wrong. It's easier for him to win at Alabama than it would be at Texas. He already has all the recruits coming in, and Alabama is the most stable program in the conference.
Even so, there is one noticeable chink in his armor: his failure to successfully defend the no-huddle offenses. His teams have lost to A&M, Ole Miss and Auburn in conference games, and to Oklahoma in a bowl. He famously whined to the NCAA to try to get rid of it, because he was struggling against it.

How would it be "easier" for him to jump to a down Texas program, and have to face TCU, Baylor, Oklahoma, Okie St, etc, every week? He can't stop those offenses with the #1 recruits he has stockpiled at Bama, you think he'll figure it out with a ravaged program? All he'd accomplish would be to risk trashing his "defensive genius" label before he retires.

damn so it's easier for saban to win it all in the sec? Maybe it's truly not the toughest conference after all.
It's not, anymore. Bama's legit, Florida and Auburn are now annual tossups as to whether they'll have losing records, LSU and Georgia have faded since the glory days of the early 2000's, Tennessee and Arkansas are just starting to come back up for air.

I took a couple of days off from the Miles talk to go hunting. Now that I'm back, I see that nothing has changed. We still don't know anything.

Would rather Chip Kelly but can't hate on Jimbo if he brings in a big name D Coordinator.

I have been hearing the same thing from a source in Baton Rouge and New Orleans before DAL started his late night antics.

I believing until I hear differently.

Like I said this belief maybe a response from my brain so my face doesn't blow off as an LSU fan right now; but I'm believing until I hear differently.

I truly don't get the amount of bitterness towards a fan just trying to give a heads up.. He was saying stuff last week.

He doesn't claim to know anything or be this big insider that knows everything. He was just giving fans a heads up about his excitement from what he had learned..

And now people like you are calling him out just because you have your doubts.. Okay..

Pumps can't stand it!

Their "M Paradigm" is being threatened and they can't stand it.

They've gone from "Threatened" to "Endangered."

Still have never encountered any of them out in the public wilds. Their "Realm of Reality" seems to only exist on the internet.

Real live flesh and blood LSU Fans and Alums want something more for the football program than currently exists.

We're all looking forward to the Championship Enchancement Process initiating and unfolding before our frusrtated eyes.

. Agreed. So yep. Sign me up. For all we really know is Miles will be retained as HC, and all assistants stay. Status quo.

What?

You people are like Donald Trump supporters, you live in an alternate universe where you make your own truth.

-Les has been publicly humiliated by Alleva. The damage is done, he ain't coming back.
-multiple leaked rumors in the media, where there's smoke there is fire
- major coaches who are on the radar are not denying it outright
- the BOD, TAF, and fans are FED UP with Les and his antics. Some of us were years ahead of the curve, but the momentum has now shifted and the consensus is to get rid of him
- the program is clearly in decline. Some of us would say it's been in decline ,albeit slowly, since 2011. All signs point to making a change.

How In The world can you not see this?
