He should be fine, couldn't participate in the spring because he dropped below 12 hours to avoid GPA problems. All he has to do is pass his summer classes to get to 24 hours for the year. He had to have over 12 in the fall semester, so just had to have a typical summer load.

Yea I read something along those lines. Don't know if it said he was back, but something about Miles saying his schooling was going well this summer and is expected back with the team when fall ball starts. Something like that... either way, it sounded like positive news! Donte is my pick to have a breakout season all purpose wise...returns, defense, and (hopefully) some touches on the offensive side of the ball.

Im guessing he's back and doing just fine. Miles usually says, "It's up to (insert player) if they want to play" if someone isnt making grades. Miles spoke about Donte is a good way.

Jackson has the same 2-way potential as Adoree Jackson from USC. Im just not going to get my hopes up. Hopefully he will be our #1 Punt/Kick return

PERFECT comparison!! I was thinking the same thing. Hopefully he's our #1 punt returner. When he fielded punts when Tre was out, Donte seemed to be flying past other players.

After re-watching Donte in this (pretty bad) Highlight Video, one can't help but think that he has some serious potential. I'm all in favor of getting him on the field in any and all reasonable situations.
But he'll definitely get his opportunities.
In fact, the 2017 CB duo of Toliver/Jackson could very well be better than the 2016 duo of White/Toliver.
