Yeah, he's the fastest guy on the team but I haven't been impressed yet

Would we be better off putting someone like Guice back there that seems to be a little more agile?

Agreed, I said the same thing to by brother yesterday. He just hasn't developed the vision yet.

Definitely running in a straight line right now but give him time. I think he busts one before the season is over

I agree. Seems like he hasn't gotten past the 25 yet.

Yeah, Donte just seems to run straight into the tackle. No moves.

It will come when we need it the most. I hope...

Like most young guys he is going too fast. He will develop patience and accelerate when the hole is there.

I'm not trying to bash the guy. I think he's done well on offense when he has had his chance on the jet sweeps.

I just don't see the talent in the return game. I expect he'll get better at some point, but when?

I expected more. He doesn't look great, but I think he will improve. Kick coverage is more concerning. They run down the field and stop and don't even fight to get off blocks. We need some tougher guys out there.

He's not good back there. He's fast. Not elusive. He runs straight into the coverage. Since Special Teams hasn't been coached since McGaughey left for the NFL, don't expect any changes or adjustments.

By the way, per the latest stats on ESPN, we are ranked 118 in the country in average yards per kickoff return...

I think with the way the defense is playing and how our offense is looking rather one dimensional, we'll need some explosive plays in the kick return game eventually. They don't have to be scores but we'll need to get some decent returns for field position.

Neither is he. Being fast is great, but it doesn't matter if you aren't seeing the holes. Guice should be back there

In the big SEC games we have coming up, maybe we see Fournette back there again . Especially considering the vision Fournette has gained from last year to this year. Could be fun to watch.

When the season started they were flying by the returner. Now they stop as if they are trying to contain the returner. Controlled aggression is needed. Stay in their lanes and still be aggressive.

said the me thing... I know he is fast but that doesn't mean he has return instinct.
