@JacquesDoucet: #LSU Paul Mainieri just passionately and very seriously told the media his intention was not to throw Greg Deichmann under the bus Sat.

It just seemed that way because of what he said, how he said it, and when he said it. But just know, that wasn't his INTENTION.

I have a friend who doesn't know the difference between being honest and being an a-hole.

He should keep that talk in the locker room.

This. A coach should always plead the 5th when it comes to his players. Whether it was intentional or not, he should know better! He has done it way to many times, period!

"Quality group of men that will fight like hell for Victory, I like us, I've always liked us."

"It's my my fault, I need to give them the right stuff."

Les >>>>> Paul

Mack Brown at Texas always blamed players or coordinators (getting new one's every year) I don't like coaches that do this. Keep it behind closed doors and at practice.

Every time a pumper starts to make even the slightest bit of sense, some idiot says something like this.

Yeah, I don't buy that.

But I think it may be time to move on from the whole Deichmann bus-throwing incident. Or maybe not. Doesn't really matter to me. I see why it bothers some people, but damn. At what point has it been discussed to death?

Coordinators maybe, but Mack was known for coddling players. Poor example.

This is not uncommon baseball coach behavior. It is what it is guys. I wouldn't look at it as embarrassing or hanging out the player to dry. I'm sure Diechmann gets it better than y'all do.

* Anybody know anything about Skip Bertman?

Maybe. I just want us to keep improving this year and make some noise in Omaha next year. He can be an a-hole all he wants if that happens.

Wasn't a stupid call to steal last night, Romero just should have swung at that fastball.

Just ask Paul....

He has advanced his ability to drive his bus over his players even during in game interviews
