I believe coach O will be the head coach for at least the next 5 yrs and he and Kiffin have a long history. With Coach Aranda on Def and Kiffin on Off with coach O letting them handle their respective jobs without interference, along with the exceptional recruiting of arguably the best talent base per capita and everyones dislike of Saban and I believe a new Reign of power will be your LSU Tigahs!
If you are not from Louisiana plz feel free to move along and comment somewhere else. Just sayin' Louisiana people take this serious and respond with respect it's not a forum to be a keyboard tuff guy with a superiorty desire. Yes I said it!

Will never happen.

ETA: But if CEO does get the LSU job on a fulltime basis, his success might lead other big programs to give Kiffin a second chance as a head coach as well.

Don't think O will the coach pass this year! His resume is just not strong enough to complete against the big name coaches. Look for him to become head coach somewhere like ULL

Explain to me why Kiffin would come work for someone he used to boss, and why he would leave the Alabama national championship machine for the same job at LSU?

Just what in the world would cause him to do that? And I am "from" Louisiana, for the last 35 years at least.

There's a rumor around some LSU circles that if O does indeed end up getting the job and Kiffin isn't offered a Power 5 job he will be at LSU next year. Just saying.

why the frick would Kiffin leave Alabama for the same job at LSU ?

that would be like a Patriots OC leaving to be the OC at the Browns

Kiffins next job will be as a head coach. He has already reached the pinnacle as an OC.

The fact that he was given a large performance bonus but no extension beyond this year indicates he will be leaving after this season which is why Saban hired S Sarkasian to step in and provide continuity

Will LK be considered as LSU'S next HC ?
Quite likely.

Personally,I don't like the slimeball and hope he is never a Tiger!

I won't be, since he's scheduled to come to LSU on November 5.

I'm from North Carolina, posted anyway
