Tigers coach Les Miles suspended Allen in mid-July for violating team rules. Miles said earlier in fall camp that the 5-foot-11, 275-pound Tennessee native was making progress academically. Apparently the progress wasn't enough, though.

Sound like it's the kids fault.

would have been alright if he didn't also have breasts, thighs, double order of rolls and mashed potatoes, and a chocolate shake!

damn, so after all that grayshirt stuff, I guess that one kid that's gonna play center can actually have his scholly this year, and we got one to spare. any deserving walkons out there?

also, any word on how Worle's coming along?

Matto210 why are you banging your head? this kid did nothing here but gain weight and if I heard correctly on Songy, he had a failed drug test this summer. You can't miss what you don't have anyway....time to move on. Cut the fat (no pun intended).

Young. Lots to learn. But, will be a BEAST. He has a good work ethic.

Damn! I didn't know he had gotten that big. Also, didn't know about the drug test. Thought he'd be the starting fullback and was in trouble for academics.

Extra schollies like that would usually go to a senior walk-on. I don't know how many of those we have on roster.

Don't want to get into a situation where you give a kid a scholarship one year and not the next, even if it's a predetermined decision.
