looks like it to me. Season stats are skewed by the bad start. They may be the best at this moment, though. We'lll know for sure after Bama.

Starting with Kentucky, I would say so. Before that, not so much, but the whole team has really turned a corner since the Florida game.

Not the best, but they certainly are much improved and likely in the top quarter of the conference.

Best news is, they still have the potential to get better down the stretch.

I still think OM has the best overall defense; combined yardage and scoring. LSU is probably top 3 or so at the moment. If they continue to improve at the current pace they could wind up number one for me also. I can see where you're coming from. We will know more after 'Bama, as you say.

The best overall defense should not let an LSU offense do what they did.

This is an important week for Miles to keep this young team focused and pace themselves with a week off. They are part on an ongoing routine... And it gets broken up by the Bye week.........The older players have gone through it...

That's just slighting the LSU run game in particular which makes no sense. OM has played solid all year, and albeit due to turnovers, did hold LSU to 10 points. As for the LSU offense, they are running the ball as well as anyone in the SEC right now. They gashed what was at the time the number two SEC rush defense in UF, prior to rumbling against UK and OM. The LSU running attack is pretty good and I seriously doubt 'Bama holds them down either.

Yes. With the additions of Beckwith and Adams. I don't know why but since they've been in almost everyone else's game has come up. Guys suddenly look a step quicker, especially the DEs.
