Dude put up amazing numbers in high school as a duel threat QB - Accounted for 5,002 total yards and 61 TDs as a senior. Only thing that could be a negative is his height....listed at 5'11. I just hate to see a talent like his possibly wasted... I'll hang up and listen.

Do you even know the rules of a redshirt, bro?

Of course, but it will probably take the right OC to utilize his skills.

Hopefully.

Kid is a gamer and a winner. He is accurate throwing the ball both in the pocket and on the run and he has excellent athleticism. With our OL woes, it would help to have that skill set.

Not to mention, he's one of the smartest, if not the smartest, player on the team.

If he was 6'3", he would've been a 4* or 5* and been offered by everyone.

Thats up to Lindsey. period

he will get a shot next year, along with Miles Brennan and yes, Justin McMillan. Etling will get an opportunity to keep his job as well.

I see BH transferring. Thats just MO though

If we go into next season with this position being open, I think Scott will make some noise.

Depends on the coach. I would be surprised if he wasn't the starter next year with Herman or Jimbo. I can't see Etling holding on to the job

For his sake 0. He and Narcisse need to redshirt. Unless we get some Qb wizard on the staff.

When Herman gets here he'll get his shot.

New. Coach and or O co ordinator. So yes. Expect spread to be implemented and Scott to get every opportunity to play.

I think every qb on the current roster will get a look with a new guy in place.

If I'm Lindsey Scott, I'm looking at what Greg Ward has done at Houston and praying Tom Herman is hired by LSU next month. Ward's 2015 season:

67% completion, 2828 yards, 8.2 YPA, 17 TDs, 6 INTS
1108 rushing yards, 21 TDs, 5.6 YPA

If Scott (who's basically a bigger version of Ward) could put up close to those stats in 2018 or 2019 at LSU, he's going to New York for the Heisman ceremony.

I can see a 3-man race for starter next year between Etling, Scott, and Brennan happening. I still feel like Harris will transfer. Narcisse will be a dark-horse.

Well, he's red shirting this year, so hopefully he gets a shot at PT next year. If he does, I believe the only thing that gets him off the field is injury.

IMO, a Herman hire would see scott as the qb. No one else currently on the roster can emulate the Greg Ward type player for his system

Brennan is a damn bean pole. Kid will be great, but he 100% needs to redshirt and gain a ton of muscle mass.

He could easily carry another 30 lbs on that frame.
