Does it bother Saban when recruits talk about Miles?

Seems like every recruit that spends time with Miles talks in a very positive way about him, regardless of LSU not being the school of choice of the recruit.

Great man, funniest of all, coolest to talk to, family (mom) loves him, etc, etc...

I don't follow Bama's sites at all, but I hardly ever here Saban talked about better than Miles, as a good person.

We are blessed at LSU to have an ambassador like Miles representing us positively across the nation. (inb41/9)

I don't think so. Saban just takes credit for Miles players in the NFL, because he laid the foundation.

Saban invented the game of football and has coached or influenced every good player that has ever played

I don't care what anyone says, Miles in in Saban's head. Period. He can win the next 20 titles in a row and Miles will still be his thorn.

Doubtful, he doesn't live in a world where everything is colored by an irrational Saban vs. Miles scenario.

Agreed, but he does live in a world where a large percentage of kids he recruits are also recruited by Miles. So I'm sure he is constantly confronted with the Mile's complimenting quotes.

Right, nothing like biased schedules, backslidden politics, do overs, and mulligans to help the hand.

The way titles are determined in CFB makes them invaluable. Until a true playoff is developed, there is taint all over the place.

Miles is a legit 3-3 vs Saban and has the same number of sec titles since Saban has been at Bama. And, the latest NFL picture he's sending; half the list Miles coached. His asterik at the bottom says, includes 33 players drafted in 6 years at Bama. Big deal; LSU has 40 in the same timeframe.

I guess it will end that way, but I was expecting more of a Miles' appreciation response.

Yes, it is asking about Saban, but meant in an unflattering way to him. I was trying hard to remember a single time a recruit has spoken more highly of Saban, as a man, than Miles.

You think Saban gives a shite if recruits think he's a nice/cool guy like Miles is? No, he sells recruits on the fact that he's a NFL factory and he wins championships. That sells itself.

LSU has sent as many or more to the NFL lately and has also won championships....

I think Saban respects Miles a whole lot more than most people who think they know about football.

What's funny is that they are about as far apart as they can be in terms of personality, but their teams are awfully similar.

Not really the point I'm trying to make, which is that Saban doesn't give a shite that high school kids think he's "cool" or "a nice guy".

How the hell are we supposed to know?

It bothers us when Saban threads keep appearing
it makes no logical sense, other than obsession

The obsession lies within you. You are the one coming into a thread you are SO opposed to and responding about obsession of Saban.

Your logic is undeniable.
