Because the AD is a foolish, petty man with tiny little testicles - he was too chickenshit to say, "We're strongly considering a change" OR "Les Miles is our coach, under contract and we expect that to continue."
He leaked the story then hid from the press for almost 3 weeks.
frick Joe Alleva. I'd have been pissed if the players DIDN'T carry him off the field - they had no idea if he was going to be the coach tomorrow, much less another game, with all the bullshite in the press.
