I just googled him, but there doesn't seem to be any news online since he got suspended in 2015. Do you think any NFL teams out there need a 6'1 250lb free safety?

30-something safeties who have been out of the league for a while past their peak talent abilities are a dime a dozen. Plus this year's safety class is LOADED. So no I don't see a need for his services going forward, unfortunately.

If I were in his position, I would start my own training business. I'm sure he is set for life.

I believe he competes in weightlifting, fitness, and body building competitions.

He's got a nice pension from his playing days I expect.

Also, he's probably MLB size by now with all the roids and no drug tests.

I do. Dude could start for the saints at LBer or safety and be an upgrade.

Goal line D also.

It was his 3rd PED ban so it's an indefinite suspension. He can't reapply for reinstatement until 60 days prior to the 2yr anniversary which is Nov. 24th 2017. So late September is when he'll be able to play again assuming the league reinstates him then.

Unfortunately, Laron got trucked as bad as anyone that I've ever seen back in 2008. He might still be wondering where he's at.

Kind of a sad story really... tale of two brothers.

Great family, great parents. But Laron was just a bit too reckless and star struck with his own fame and fortune. Blew most if not all of it. Still parties hard. His brother Dawan, who made good money, but probably a fraction of what Laron made, is probably set and definitely much better off financially.
