Do you think this team is built to come from behind in the 4th quarter

if down by two possessions?

What about coming from behind if down by one possesion and executing a 2 mintue offense? What is your confidence level regarding this scenario?

Seeems like as long as we are in the lead and controlling the clock then we are good, but if we ever have to come from behind we will have major problems.

We are built to not get in those situations and win

There is no such offense. Teams down 13+ in the fourth quarter this season have a record of 3-188.

If theres 6 or less minutes left and we are down two scores, game is probably over.

If there is 9 minutes or more left, we have a decent chance.

In between that is a gray area

All you've done is put a twist on the very obvious fact that we have problems passing the football. Did you think this was a novel concept?

I'm not sure any coach would want to build and coach a team to come from behind and win. I'd rather coach a team to be leading at all times.
Example: Les Miles.

Two possessions is actually 9+

I think Les Miles' LSU teams have a knack for making most games a fight in the 4th quarter. I'm equally as confident in LSU's ability to come back as I am in their ability to squander a nice lead.

Less confident than in scenario #1, but still confident. The passing attack has a funny way of finding it's legs when they absolutely have to have it (see UF and Wisc. last season, Ark. in 2013)

IMO, don't turn off an LSU game because rarely are they ever out of it, whether leading are trailing at any point in the game.

No I do not think this team has the ability to run a 2 minute O yet. Quick strikes for 10 -15 yards does not suit this offense as of now. Actually it seems damn near impossible right now.

Maybe. We have 4 WR, read-option packages, and more than 1 deep threat wide receiver. In addition, we have at least 2 RBs capable of making almost any run a scoring play.

I hope we don't have to find out this season. I'm as worried about pass protection as any other aspect of our team - special teams included.

No, and I worry about how this team would react if it were to get down early. They've been so dominant in the first half that they've go on cruise control in the second.

*Dominant in SEC games. Were in cruise control the entire game against SU and EMU.

Isn't our winning percentage under Les when trailing after 3 qtrs still the best in the country by far?

I don't think it is a wise strategy to build your team for large fourth quarter comebacks.

They led Syracuse 7-6 at the half. They led 20-14 at half. Not really so dominant in the first half lately.

A lot of people seem to forget, we have not seen Fournette play significant time during the 4th quarter this season.

Fournette + Tired Defenses = Touchdowns

I just listened to Les and he basically said he felt like victory had been achieved. So they ran the ball. In a closer game he said the second half would have been more balanced. Now is this tem capable? well not with the current play of the wrs but Les also stated hes not ready for whole sale changes, but some changes will be made in the line up.

Les also makes good points, dropped balls cost us two TDs. Those are caught and people feel diff about the passing game. Harris is doing what is asked but he needs to feel the pressure and hold onto the ball in that situation when he turned it over.
