its called a drop back. The QB shifts his weight backwards, but don't worry as long as his legs move hell stay on his feet.

Not a feeling, I seent it.

I keep thinking they are going to call him for a false start one of these plays.

I've noticed that too. He starts bailing out about a second before the snap. Very close to a false start.

Let me guess, you got some ideas for Cam on how to coach up Mett.

Hmm. Hadn't noticed but if you have I'm sure other coaches will. And tell d lineman about it and they could get a better jump on the snap.

Saban will be the one to capitalize on it .

For some reason, I laughed out loud reading this because I can kind of see where you are coming from I guess?

If you can, go back and look at fall camp footage. During drills Cam was placing emphasis on being quick and explosive from under center on dropbacks. IMO this is just a result of that, he's learned to speed everything up.

What's the rule here? A Qb can move into shotgun and or stomp his feet... What constitutes a false start, not having his feet set when the ball is snapped?

I've never seen Zoltan Mesko take a snap under center.

He does that only when he is throwing to OBJ. He stays in on all others. Saban will not notice it.

QB usually only gets called for false start if it's a really obvious attempt to draw the defense offside.

Whatever he's doing is working for him.
