Do yall feel bad for BH at all?

I'll put this at the top since I'm cool like that...tl;dr I still stand behind Harris, feel bad for him, don't like how he's been coached, and am angry at people treating him like shite
After reading a lot of comments here and elsewhere around the internet last night and today, I feel pretty bad for the kid. I mean, he knows he isn't playing well, people are talking shite about him everywhere, fans were booing him, and this bitch on NOLA writes an "article" about him being emotional last night. It wasn't even really an article as much as it was her searching out and posting other people's tweets.
I don't think he was put in the position to excel by the coaching staff, and I believe they actually made him worse of a QB since he's been here. He obviously has talents, and they were not utilized or sharpened by our staff. They get paid big bucks to recognize and judge these kid's abilities, and can't or flat out won't. He has talent. He made it onto the roster, got a scholarship, and all of the way to a starting QB position at one of the biggest football powerhouses in the country. Our problem is that we just don't have the right people to harness those talents.
He's a young kid and has his future falling apart right now. No doubt he's gonna be emotional (that doesn't excuse him leaving so quickly last night). IMHO, the players shouldn't ever ever ever be booed unless they commit a flagrant personal foul. Anybody who boos these kids deserves to walk into work Monday with a black eye.
He might not have done well, but I'll still stand behind the kid without question. I'll do that for every single player on the team who puts in the effort to succeed and is dedicated to LSU football.
*That POS bitch writer from NOLA needs to be demoted to mail room duty for taking advantage of him while he's down LINK

I feel bad that he was booed by our ignorant fan base. Seriously, you people are the fricking worst.

I would feel bad for him if he didn't make an announcement to the nation that he had the best arm blah blah blah.. All without proving himself at anything.

Wanted him to be successful. I'll never bad mouth one of these kids.
The coaches have him scared to do anything at all.

Then by all means, start BH next week and every game thereafter. Don't feel bad for the rest of the team and the majority of the fan base as he wrecks the season and embarrasses himself - long as your sensibilities aren't being bumped at all.

Absolutely, those kids put in a lot of time and effort and he really is a genuinely nice young man.
Maybe this will help him.

I feel bad for any QB who signs to play under Miles.

Poor coaching has nothing to do with throwing the ball 5 fret over an open receiver. He has had more than a fair opportunity to solidify his starting role.
The trash-talking and name-calling directed at Harris is not appropriate. The kid has conducted himself well and doesn't act cocky. He should be congratulated for being a team player.

Yes I do. People who are hammering him probably have never played team sports before. BH has worked his arse off trying to be the QB that LSU needed. No one wanted LSU to win more than him. Unfortunately he came to a school who does not have coaches that develope QBs. He never looked comfortable running our system and I dont think our coaches did anything to help that. Some things in life just dont go together. I do believe without a doubt had BH went to a different school with a coach who has a track record of developing raw QBs things would have been different for him. I just dont understand how people can shite on a kid who gave so much to LSU. Regardless of whether he was successful ir not. He tried and failed but he did give it all he had.

I kind of feel bad for him on a personal level. But, he's a junior. What has he been doing to improve his touch on short/intermediate routes? What has he been doing to improve his pocket presence?
I mean, it is what it is. He didn't set out to be the worst QB in the SEC. It's not his fault he plays in games. That's on Miles and Cam.

He had plenty of time and chances.
Life is not easy or fair.
Not fair to the rest of the team for him to remain QB.

Totally agree. Feel terrible for him. He's not a troublemaker. Seems like a solid guy.
This is rinse and repeat under Miles.
Jefferson/Lee
Jennings/Harris
Etling/Harris
The backup comes in versus an FCS opponent. Has one decent quarter. Then, everyone trashes Harris. He may look like JT Barrett if he had chosen OSU.
I've seen this story before. I'm not fully hopping on the Etling bandwagon.

Couldn't agree more. And Ill go ahead and say this isn't the last time he plays this year. It's a long season and while I hope Etling is the second coming of Joe Montana I doubt it. I also know miles will find a way to keep him involved and get PT whether its deserved by performance or not.

frick that pussy feelings shite after 2.5 years and still brain dead, at some point you need to pull the plug.

Shitting on QBs is what our fan base does. JJ/JL/Jennings/ and now Harris. We even have posters saying bench LF7 for not showing enough support and "sulking" beside BH6 last night smh. It's ridiculous.

While I agree you have to look at "facts"
He wasn't performing well. He had plenty of time in the pocket and was missing passes still.
As for the boos, this board made it clear that the boos were for the coach and the philosophy. Booing is for entitled idiots.
As for being emotional, I get it. Most people do. But that's not an excuse to not be a good teammate. He handled it well the last few years, why change now?
As for being behind players, I think most people are. But effort is key. There's a reason why Harris, who I think is a fairly intelligent kid, took awhile to learn the playbook. You have to put the hours in. You have to put the effort in.
