Do we really think ESPN hates us?

This week, more than any other week in a long time the 'ESPN hates us' rhetoric has been more evident. Do LSU fans actually believe that ESPN has some sort of vendetta against us? ESPN simply goes for target audiences. They go for teams with superstars over quality teams. There's a reason A&M is talked about so much.There also isn't a ton of bandwagon fans outside of the state compared to other powerhouse schools. A direct result of not having that 'guy'. I'm fine without the attention.

Manziel? Mariotta? Winston? We've had great players but outside of Mathieu and Peterson we haven't had guys that were household names for even casual sports fans. Also our program, despite the sustained success, isn't up there with Texas, Bama, Notre Dame, OSU, OU etc.It's just about who's gonna watch and more people are gonna watch those players and programs.

Yes. Don't get me wrong, I like flying under the radar and quietly devouring our schedule week by week and landing in the playoffs..... But yes, ESPN Hates us, and doesn't mind hating us at all.

news flash; EVERY school thinks ESPN hates them, including A&M. LSU gets plenty of attention and will get more if we turn out to be a contender for the playoffs. it seems as if many fans feel their school is not mentioned on ESPN they are slighted. c'mon, there are a lot of schools.

ESPN is nothing more than a collection of diversified, politically-correct, pandering, spineless D-bags that say what the Brass tells them what to say in the best interest of their bottom line...Period!

Would venture to say Tuscaloosa and South Bend don't make the top 100 media markets. It has nothing to do with "market" it is about winning and being topical. ND doesn't get 1/3 of the national media love it used to. But don't fool yourself the national media wants them to be relevant because of the border to border fan base. USC is the west coast bell cow. They are in the second largest media market in the nation so of course they want them to be relevant. It's all about the ad $ and without the eyeballs there's no ad $. We Tiger fans have got to shuck this "they hate us" whiny arse attitude. Who gives a rat's arse if anybody outside of Da-Boot loves us? F-'em! Tigers win and they will be all over. So please stop with the whole they hate us shite.
