We're 39th in the AP poll, worse in the Coaches, so, no. Win these next 4 very winnable games, then we should be pretty close.

LSU has a pretty easy week this week in comparison to this last week with South Carolina at home and Mississippi State on the road. They might be in the top 25 after another 2-0 week next week.
Then after that they have two in a row at home before Kentucky.
They have a good shot to get ranked before the Kentucky game.

you're too badass to care about rankings i guess.
rankings don't mean anything in basketball, but you get exposure when you're ranked, so it's a win-win situation.

Well, Vandy is 1-5 in the SEC and they took us to OT, as the rest of the SEC has done also

People get waaay too ahead of themselves regarding LSU basketball. We had a great week, but there are easily 30 teams better than LSU at the moment. Our guys are trending in the right direction by learning from our mistakes and making necessary adjustments. Enjoy this one because we tend to take two steps forward and one step back.
