Because it certainly doesn't look like it.

Receivers catching a pass 5 yards from the sidelines and trying to get 3 more yards instead of going out of bounds.

Are they even instructed that is of the utmost importance to get OOB?

They apparently don't understand that 25 seconds on the play clock is way more important than an extra 3 yards, unless it's for a first down.

It doesn't matter when your head coach throws in a limping tailback as some sort of decoy in the last minute, wasting time, causing a sack and loss of your last timeout, and not fooling anyone on defense.

Serious question....do you know the rules in college football regarding going out of bounds and the clock?

I thought this disrupted things as well.

That would require throwing and tempo so probably not

At this point I think our coaches spend all week recruiting and the players learn via Xbox one.

Yes, but only for one minute at a time.

Yes. Practice and game are 2 different things. Harris looks great in practice. Our punter can punt well in practice. We make all our FGs in practice. We kick the ball inbounds on kickoffs in practice. The lights come on and it all goes to shite.

No need to because we usually have such a commanding lead in the 4th quarter ...

Is there a new rule that the clock continues to run even if you go OOB?

They practice how to run under the goalpost when they are about to take the field at Tiger Stadium.

If it is determined his forward progress was stopped in bounds the player is awarded that spot in bounds despite going out of bounds after that. Clock will not stop unless it is a first down at which point the clock restarts at referee's signal.

2:56 and 1 TO if I remember correctly. I told my BIL, "That's still not enough time for Les' offense".

Unfortunately I was right.

Yes, and the clock runs out in practice, too....
