Miles has pieced together one of the best recruiting staff ever and is on track to possibly have the best recruiting class ever. However, with all this fire Miles talk and bringing in a new coach it is quite predictable that recruits will hear the derision by the fans. (the team sure has.)

Do the fans shouting from the mountain tops that Miles should be fired, affect the foundation of the program, to the point where recruits who we think we had (Fulton, Lawrence, Manuel, Franks, Fowler etc...) no longer end up in purple and gold.

And if so will you hold yourself accountable?

I think the failure on the field of the team in high profile games has much lee to do with that than some nerds on a message board

But I'm glad that you think so highly of yourself. Truly

Is this a serious post? Coaching changes happen in CFB. Les Miles isn't the first, or the last. LSU is lucky to be in a state with TONS of great talent, and location will always favor them regardless of coaching. I think it might be worth it in the long run.

Do you think a recruit is listening to the coaching staff or a bunch of obnoxious fans, myself included?

fans are screwing over recruiting? have you not read some tweets by current and former players?

are you suiting up? because Miles could use some OL and front 7.

Who is going to develop them?

Yep, I'll be the reason the class drops from #2 to #40..

Miles needs to win either Ole Miss or A&M to keep his job. Period. We blew a big opportunity this season, and coaching played a big role in it. Hiring Kevin Steele? That was terrible

Miles and company assembles the top recruiting class year in and year out, It's what you do with that top tier talent.

And clearly, he's not getting the job done.

What more talent does CLM need to win a Natty Title brah?

The program is bigger than any one coach or recruiting class. It shouldn't be held hostage by either.

We've had badass recruiting classes the last few years and Miles has shite the bed and left the talent on the sidelines. He's clueless on how to use his players. Quinn, D. Smith, Donte Jackson, Jazz, TJ... How many snaps did Guice get in the last two games?

You can have all of the talent in the world, but if your coach is a dinosaur that can't put together a decent gameplan, better coaches can beat you with less talent. Which is what we saw at Arkansas

No they don't. The vast majority of LSU fans on these boards are fly off the handle, emotional reactionaries. There is no way that anyone with any sense thought that this team wouldn't lose 2 or 3 games this year, with 2016 being the year to compete for a championship. Hell, just 3 weeks ago they were praising the coaching staff.

There's not a single recruit in the class that I wouldn't gladly lose if it meant getting out from under Les Miles. If it means taking a whole class of three stars to get him out that's a deal I'd gladly take.

Don't be so self-righteous and naive. Public perception plays into how recruits view the team. If LSU loyalists spew hateful shite all day about the team and staff, of course that influences their perception of the team. A lot of blame is due per the last two games, but the "the sky is falling" tone of the fanbase shows recruits that the team and coaches are heroes when they win, but the fans will turn on them at the drop of a hat. That's not a good look for us and can certainly be leveraged against us by other teams who are recruiting the same players.

In pretty sure Rabalais' article in today's Advocate will cause a stir.

not like this.. this is elite recruiting and addressing the most important aspect of the game, the d line (imo) right along with the o-line, which just had a monster haul..

LSU has always been top 5, but say like Alabama with the #1 classes are only #1 because that is where it tops out.. but in reality it's not even that close.. LSU is currently recruiting at an Alabama level.. it's absolutely incredible right now.. so this is quite a predicament to be in..

However, the overall program is still most important.. and I still feel like we need a new direction. I just don't know that Les has the same intensity as he once did.. and he is just too stubborn to a fault..

It's still not quite like what this current class can be.. and LSU always has skill players.. they are finally addressing serious D needs. and a top QB.

any ways, I agree.. need a new coach with confidence.. and willingness to spread the ball around better.. and utilize the talents.

the first game against mcneese st looked so promising.. (i know it was mcneese st and it was cancelled) but you had sweeps, you had donte jackson getting snaps on offense.. (what happened to this!), you had tyron johnson even as a freshman on the field.. you had guice coming out the back field catching passes.

i'd love to see a 2 back set with both guice and fournette on the field at the same time.. i'd love to see LSU utilize the screen game more.. and get back to the bubble screens, jet sweeps, short-medium passing. get trey quinn to run in the slant and get positive yards.. just open the whole thing up.. just be more balanced as a team. and that will only open things more to make the most of fournette's carries.

idk.. i just think it's sick and frustrating

The coaches get the credit and they also get the blame, it's what happens when you're in charge!
