Do fans still do the car keys thing

in the 4th quarter when the game is in hand? I haven't noticed it recently. But then again I stopped sitting in the student section five years ago. maybe it was just their thing.

I remember it vividly in 1996 or 1997. I don't remember seeing it since. If people still do it, it must be an isolated/scattered thing, and nothing that's enough for anyone outside the student section to even notice.

i remember the student section did it all the time when I was a student, 2001-2005. maybe they've gotten past it. i never really cared for it.

Well I was out of state for most of that time period, but I haven't noticed a single incident of it in the last few years.

yes people still do it, well we did it last year.
but they had these two total d-bags in front of me whip out their keys after the PP punt return...mind you this was the second quarter. if we would have lost i was have walked up to them and punched both square in the nose for jinxing us.

I remember when we went to Virginia Tech they did it on every 3rd down, got really annoying.

I did it myself at the MSU game. We scored at the
end of the 3rd to make it 26-7. We began the long walk to our car and I held up the keys and gave them a shake. kind of juvenile I know but it was nice to know the game was in hand.
