Do any of our DE's have the right build/skill to play LB?

There were mentions of Sione sliding to OLB next year but him and Clark have been ghosts lately

Unless Key puts on a significant amount of weight in the next few years, he'll be playing downed LB in the NFL.

I would think so. But in order to do that we have to bring in more defensive linemen which we should unless the bottom completely falls out.

Definitely. Key is perfect for the 3-4, reminds me alot of Leonard Floyd and Lorenzo Carter at UGA. Also think Isiah Washington, Sione Teuhema, and Tashaun Bower could fit their as well.

The main problem is that you have literally zero option at nose guard and you have one LB capable of playing inside and he is likely gone next year.

The problem with the 3-4 is you need big strong down linemen (especially the NT) and rugged inside LBs; do you think LSU has these kind of players right now?

Yes.... Actually most of them do.

And our DTs have the build to play as a 3-4 DE.

We're small.
