Wish him well. He wore the colors and represented LSU proudly.

He did not make the plays...you keep making excuses for him that's ok.

I'm not making excuses for him. I'm merely pointing out the fact that all of you know-it-alls have done nothing for LSU but you feel compelled to bash those who have. Nice bunch of people aren't you?

And for the lamebrain that suggested that he take himself out: really dude? I am assuming here that either you have never played athletics or if you have that you were perfect every game every play.

He had a chance to play major college football, he gave it his all. He might not have been the best out there, but he did his best. He doesn't deserve the crap all of you have piled on him.

But if that is what it takes to make you feel better about yourself, then I guess you have to do what you have to do.

Never hated Welter, hated that the coaches kept playing him. A lesser person would have quit or asked not to play. He fought hard. Same way I feel about AJ, they might both be terrible, but they work hard. Not their fault it doesn't translate and they keep getting asked to display how bad they are.

Good post. Same with AJ, JJ and McCray. They weren't making personnel decisions.

I'm not. I just don't like lynch mobs. I feel that way about everybody that sacrifices for LSU who gets shite on by a bunch if internet assaholas.

I don't understand why everyone hates this guy. It's absurb that we live in world where a man who gives it all and can't handle the task give is turned on by so many.

Life is just hard sometimes....go to Northwestern St or ULL and you don't have this problem. And how do you know he has given his all?

Agree with you Gray Tiger and I'm no relatove either.

This year it was DJ and AJ. Last year it was Freak and DJ. Before that it was JJ. And before that Jarrett Lee.

None of these deserved the scorn and ridicule aimed at them from the Rant.

I know that he has given a damn sight more than you have.
And what do those other teams have to do with the fact that you are an idiot?
Here's a hint: actually achieve something, then criticize others.

I blame him for both the bama and ND losses....someone has to step up and make a play to stop those drives. He chose not to do that...
Welter probably only played a quarter of the defensive plays against bama. Did he even see the field on defense against ND? I saw him on special teams, don't remember seeing him on defense. So you want to blame him for those losses instead of any of the other players who played as much or more? Makes perfect sense . Damn you Welter!!!!!

Last I checked this thread was about Welter....but you are right there is plenty of blame to go around. My point is...these guys need to step up in big games. One play is usually the difference.
So tired of all this NFLU bull shite that does not translate on the field.

Well I certainly agree with you about this. However, you were the one that singled out Welter for the losses to bama and ND. I don't agree with that. Just like there was a ton of posts after the bama game bad mouthing Jennings, but he played more then well enough for us to win the bama game. The bama loss shouldn't be placed solely on any one player (or coach).
