I find it a little weird seeing grown men ask for a player's autograph for themselves, regardless of who it is

Autographs from this era are pretty much worthless. Players sign tons of stuff. Lol at comparing getting an autograph from a current player to babe fricking ruth's

Dude you are looking in the present. 40 years down road autographs disappear and become more and more valuable. Common sense. For instance when I was kid I got curt schilling manny and Ortiz in same day. They might be worth something one day if not sentimental value. Long ways down road. Or worth something for my kids

The amount of stuff that is signed by players today dwarfs that of players 30-80 years ago. Plus all of the fakes in existence today. No one will be paying 300k for an autographed Jeter ball in 50 years like they would for a Gehrig ball.

I beg to differ. While it might not be as much it will still be substantial amount. Valuable to a kid as well. I'm done talking about it though. It's pointless lol
