I don't know the ins and outs of them but it's just an autopsy. Part of the process. Guessing they had their reasons...I don't know.

That is truly heartbreaking to learn.
I do doubt if they sent him to Little Rock for an autopsy. If there was foul play involved they wouldn't want an out of state agency involved in the investigation.

When a person is found dead in a car, even with an evident fatal gunshot wound, you get an autopsy.
As for it going to Arkansas, this is common practice for this area. Nothing unusual about the fact that his body was sent to Arky.
Prayers to his family. A terrible tragedy.
