I absolutely liked the timeout there. Just a week prior LSU watched an 11 point lead with 50 seconds nearly evaporate because of poor execution at the end of the game. In that game Jones didn't call a TO until UGA was within 2 points.
With about 2:00 to go last night LSU has just had 3-4 absolute dog shite offensive possession and they were on the verge of letting a defeated AU team gain some momentum for a late game come back. Instead of what he did just week prior, Jones called a TO, refocused everyone and got them to lock the game away.
Ideally you don't want to stop the clock in that situation, but it's much more important to get everyone on the same page.

I truly adore the "the only way to get a point across to a player is to yell and scream at him" crowd on here. It is so cute. I am glad you guys got an erection from seeing this on TV.
