did Rasco lose his redshirt?

I remember seeing him on the field at some point this year...

He ended up with multiple sacks towards the back-end of the year. He will be in the rotation for heavy PT this year.

9 gamess- 17 tackles- 3.5 for loss- 2 sacks; Not bad for limited snaps. He will be in the defensive end rotation next season and I wouldn't be surprised to find him starting by season's end.

I'm glad a lot of these guys are not redshirting. Prime example are guys like big Sam and Brockers who won't stay 4 years anyway but yet we used redshirts on them. Getting a little game experience their freshman year helps I think.

probably not if Mingo can add 15-20 lbs.

But I'd imagine after next year both Mingo and Big Sam will be leaving to play on Sundays.

Agreed. R/S is not for everyone. Rasco has a chance to be scary good like SM.

I think he jumps laval edwards and is 3rd de. gets similar playing time to mingo this year. d line will be strength of team next year
