He was a solid QB at Neville. Nice poise and pocket awareness, he's always been hard to drag down. Never gonna happen.

Don't laugh, the guy was a baller.

I don't think its in the cards because Diarse wants to play in the league and WR is his meal ticket.

Rumor around Monroe a month or so ago was that they were going to move him to QB for depth.

I think those rumors started bc he was getting some throwing reps in practice though (hence the trick play where he was supposed to go deep to AJ but he gave up on the route against ND)

WR Julian Edelman threw a 51 yard TD in yesterday's Playoffs; on a trick play/lateral from Tom Brady...Edelman was an ex QB in college

I would like to see LSU pull this off with Diarse catching the lateral & gunning one down field...only problem is i'm not sure Jennings could get him the ball?

Diarse is Tommy Frazier like. I just see Diarse making that pitch out wide to LF with a head full of steam, or him keeping it turning up field with power. It would be an automatic 5 to 10 yds if he doesnt house it. It would be freaking Awsome to avg 400 yds a game rushing.

If LSU ran the option they would've beat miss st, bama and arky.

Why the triple option would not work for LSU? Its one thing to say they would never change the offense, its illogical to say it would not work.

Seriously. I think you're onto something. I'd take that Georgia Tech triple option offense to ours any day of the week... It produced Calvin Johnson at WR. And GTech does it with 2 and 3 star players. Put our 3, 4 and 5 stars into that offense. Heck, we've all been trying to get an offense that passes the ball more (outside of Mett/Landry/OBJ) and maybe we should just go with the run.

If that happens we have officially become Michigan. This is what Michigan has done the past 2 years WR playing QB

Wrong. Calvin played at tech before the option.

If you want the option at LSU then you better get on board with hiring Paul Johnson. This isn't xbox. It works at Tech because it's taught by an option wizard that has run it for almost 2 decades. You don't just plug in good athletes and all of the sudden you're impossible to stop at the option. That offense takes a lot of repetition, discipline, and quick decisions by the quarterback in a lot of traffic
