Detailed Chip Kelly Profile

Interesting read if you care.
He'd be my top hire, but for a lot of reasons, I don't see it happening. For one, the timing is not right, they are not out of the division race as hard to believe as that is. Nor do I think unlike a Saban or Petrino or Spurrier that he has yet given up on the NFL.
Not to mention, the Titans would probably be interested in him if fired, as might a couple of other teams, and I don't think it's beyond the pale for Lurie to give him another year as he was really enamored with him. I wouldn't be surprised to see them bring in a personnel guy other than Roseman that Chip can work with.

That's what everyone said about Saban at Alabama, if I recall correctly.
If Chip Kelly comes to LSU, he's staying there for AT LEAST 5 years. He's done in the NFL for a while, and LSU is as big of a program as it gets... where would he go?

Kelly is like Kiffin, I don't get the hype at head coach. Rather have long term coaches. Fans would have him ran out of town in three years when you see the defense LSU would have and how defenses could slow down his game.

Longevity should not rank in the top 10 as criteria. The only coaches you can have as long as you want them are bad and mediocre ones. Miles is only still her b/c he didn't get the Michigan job.

Oh, HELL no.
Kiffin is nowhere close to the coach that Kelly is. Kelly is a brilliant coach who's a bit of a dick. Kiffin is a dick who's not even that good of a coach.
