I love both of these guys but neither one is gonna run in 4.3's. Come on. Both are extremely fast but its extremely rare for people to run in the 4.3's in a combine setting with laser timing. Even more rare for people over 220 to do it.

ESPN has Fournette marked down at a 4.35

Not out of the realm to say Guide isn't somewhere around that.

1. Pac 10 defenses didn't even try to stop the run

2. I am talking talent, not stats (yet). Guice's balance and 0 to 100 after a cut remind me of Bush.

Reggie Bush was an absolute monster in college. I get it. I think Guice is about that talented.

I sometimes think that Guice makes too many moves. I think he would do better at times just putting his head down and running north and south. I wouldn't completely change his way of running, just a small tweak.

to be fair any ranter could have run through most of the holes in that video
Couldn't disagree more. Some runs he started with a good hole. Many others not so much. What's outstanding is toward the end when things are tight and he's getting cornered, he still manages to get more than you'd expect. He's got deceptive agility and great instincts.

Needing to run north/south more is always a rookie trend, but he already seems better about that then when Fournette started. I'm not predicting he will be better than LF, but no doubt he's damn special. It feels unfair to have both of them on the same team, but hell yeah, I'll take it!

I would personally like to see Guice and Fournette on the field together over half the time. (with Guice split out wide or on a wing). If the defense wants to crowd the LOS to stop Fournette, Harris just flips it out quickly to Guice, who now has only a CB in front of him and a nice gain. Plus Guice has really good hands as a receiver.

What's scary is CEH may have even quicker feet than Guice, if that's even possible

I was there for that game. The crowd was small but they went absolutely nuts after that run. He had a couple that game.

Guice had 51 carries for 440yds. 100yards of that 440yds were yards after contact and averaged 2.0yac per attempt on the season. And he forced 23 missed tackles on just 51carries.

OL is damn good, don't get me wrong. But it wasn't like Guice was just getting the ball and going 8 yards untouched each carry. He earmed a lot of those yards by making someone miss or refusing to go down and fight for every yard he can get.

Not saying I agree with the premise, but Guice averaged 8.6 in his first season. I'd doubt he is considered the better college back when he's done at LSU, but I guarantee you he's considered the better NFL back barring injury.

Haha You are crazy! DG is my kind of RB he gets tough yardage when nothing is there. I love the way he always seems to not only get that extra yard... he always seems to get that extra 5 yards.

Good highlights;horrible "music", should've turned vol off. "This N...lookin like he want some" some of what?? I personally prefer females "wanting some". Garbage lyrics contributes immensely to Bl on Bl violence..correction, Bl violence period.
