He didn't get to play but he was an LSU Tiger. Doing well and a great example for all. I would imagine he will be off this Saturday.

Would be cool to present him with an honorary degree from DBU

No one should be honored until Kevin Faulk is in the "ring of honor" or whatever.

Delvin Breaux does not recognize LSU in pre-game intros for the Saints. He says McDonough.

That is AFTER LSU and Les honored his scholly with a BROKEN NECK.

Screw Delvin Breaux.

(note, I separate that sentiment from the mad respect for what he has accomplished )

That might change if we show him respect for giving it a shot here during that tough time

This. Why Kevin Faulk doesn't have his #3 retired is beyond me.

I could go for that. He'd probably get a standing ovation.

Why would he? He literally did not make one practice at LSU. Sure...LSU honored the commitment and he was at LSU as a student trying to rehab, but the guy never took the field as a Tiger ever.

I'd love to see him introduced and be honored at a game...the guy would have made a great addition to our program and he'd have been a Tiger in ever sense of the word had he not been injured. He and we did everything possible to get him in an LSU uniform...it just didn't happen.

And let's be honest...if he said "LSU" there would be a counter faction of asshats that would be angry that he said LSU without having played...you know that, right?

I think they wait until these people are old and have no chance at messing up their name in the public. Kevin is my favorite player and I hope to see this one day, but I don't think it's happening until he's in his late 50's. Just my opinion.

I was thinking an honorary jersey presentation would be pretty damn cool.

Why because he is good in the NFL and one time wanted to come to LSU?

This is stupid. If he doesn't recognize LSU why should LSU recognize him?

Obviously, he wanted to play for LSU very much and I am sure was very disappointed he couldn't. It was just too soon and he couldn't get cleared. Nobody's fault but of course he wanted to play. LSU probably did him a huge favor in delaying his return to football so everything in the inside of his neck could completely heal and every muscle possible in and around his neck could get stronger. A setback would not have been good had all of that not have adequate time.

Fact. He played on our team either his freshman or sophomore year in a few travel tournaments we went to. He was better than every player from every school
