Delvin Breaux making plays at saints Ota's

He was taking reps with the first team yesterday. I have heard nothing but good things about him so far. It basically seems like he has a spot just about locked up.

Serious question - Who is Delvin Breaux and how is he linked to LSU? What has he been through?
I saw these comments on the Saints board yesterday and everyone said they are rooting for him because of what he has been through and some mentioned that he has posted here. Was very curious once I saw those comments.

Can we count Breaux as another LSU player in the NFL? Wasn't Les going to honor his scholarship anyway?
He didn't go to college anywhere else but just kept working. I say we claim him officially! I know that he would not really show up on any lists, but he would have been a great Tiger.

I'd say we count him. LSU honored his scholarship and I actually thought he was enrolled at LSU. He played ball at the rec on campus all the time.

Breaux didn't seem too happy with LSU about his time there, LSU probably had no choice though, if not cleared that was the right thing to do and they did honor his scholarship which they could have easily pulled during the recruiting process.

I actually used to work with his now wife when he got picked up by the saints recently and both are extremely magnificent people. His character and play truly are a gift from God and I pray he stays healthy because if he does he will geaux extremely far
