How good do you think he will be now that he's finally going to be starting this year? I know he seems a bit small for a linebacker but everytime I have seen him play he looks rediculously fast and makes lots of tackles when he was in the game.

He will start and play very well I believe. I just hope he holds up for an entire season in the conference being on the lighter side

Debo has been clawing his way up the ladder since he's been with LSU. He will not waste his opportunities to contribute. My son went to high school with him and he's such a great kid and a phenomenal athlete for his size. I think this defense will be fun to watch.

We actually blitz now so he should get some opportunities

Yea everytime I've watched him play I just sit there wondering why he is not starting. I believe our linebackers will be a lot better than most people think with Jones and an experienced Beckwith.

Isn't he about the same size as Kwon was? I honestly don't think we will see much of a drop off between the 2. He was my favorite recruit from that class and very excited to finally see what he can do at the starting position. He's an animal out there

Every single time this guy is on the field things happen. He has the "uncoachable" gifts of football savvy between his ears. His character somewhat makesup for lack of size. Beast

Beckwith, Debo, Lamar Louis, Clifton Garrett, Duke Riley, and Ronnie Feist

Thats a hell of a 2 deep rotation if you ask me.

He seems to be feast or famine. He has made quite a few highlight plays, but he has also missed a few assignments.

He likes to play behind the line while the big DL take on the blocks. What LB doesn't? The problem is that he either gets dominated by blockers or takes himself out of the play trying to avoid them.

He's fantastic in space and tracking carriers down. He needs to prove that he can stick his nose into a pulling guard and plug a gap.

I wish we could put a moratorium on the word "beast". It's amazing how many fan anointed "beasts" end up not very beastly.
