OK @Greg_D07...
What Wind? Just 451 feet to right-center field for his fourth home run of the year. LINK
This dude's bat speed is ridiculous!

Teams are going to start pitching around him unfortunately.

Hopefully Slaughter keeps it up and can protect him.

Maryland did this Friday for one at bat when I was at the game. He only had one hit for a grounder but connected on a few moon shots that sailed foul. Seems like everytime he got bat on ball there was a chance to go yard, and his swing looks effortless.

He makes it look easy! Going to be an entertaining season with him at the plate

Looks like CPM is trying to find the correct buttons to push with this early. Smith moved behind Deichman Saturday and then Slaughter was back against the lefty on Sunday. As long as those two stay hot we will be good to go.

Most impressed is his plate presence and courage after taking on the chin requiring surgery and broken facial bones right before the season starts. Amazing.

Yep. If LSU can't put someone behind him who strikes fear into the opposition then Deichmann will be lucky to see one ball per AB he can drive.

Of course pitching around a hitter is always a situational decision just like an intentional walk but I expect he's going to see less and less quality pitches.

Was there a runner in first for every homer hit hit?
