If Cole and Kramer come back, our infield will be intact and more experienced. Then we only have to replace center field again.

Where else can he realistically play?? Playing summer ball at 1B, will only help him for next season. Love to see our infield stay intact for next season. Just need to have Poche come back and 2 new stud outfielders who can hit and we will be in Omaha next year!!

As a Twins fan, I can tell you he didn't want to play for semi-professional team.

Defense is a priority for Deichmann this summer in the Cape Cod League. Said he will work at first, second & "maybe some outfield. #LSU

deichmann going to work primarily at first and second and "maybe some outfield"... very interesting. BUT, opens 1st base for an incoming freshman.

Solid OF next year could be Deichmann, Duplantis, & Breaux. As much as I like the Jordan twins, down the stretch run they were just simply overmatched. As CPM says "book is out on him (them"... They are good ball players, but only when feasting on a steady diet of fastballs. Dont think they did enough this last month of the season to be guaranteed a spot anywhere on the field.

He was probably thinking about Duplantis. Both names start with a D. Anybody could make this mistake.

Deichman looks more comfortable catching fly balls than grounded a to me. That play he made down the line was a lot harder then it looked yesterday

I agree. I really like to see him at a corner outfield position. He just hasn't looked comfortable with infield defense. I don't know anything about his arm but he looks like he'd have a good arm. He also has good speed to cover some ground out there.

That was a great catch by the way.
