Jefferson was the best looking safety I have seen all season for us,

Same for RR.

Welter actually looked pretty damn good blitzing too.

Jefferson can be similar to brandon taylor and very solid...I was never sold on R Martin bulking up to 220...he became extremely slow

If we can get one of the DTs to stay out of ego and freak the defense will be very very strong. The defense has continued to improve every game this season. Even the bama game they looked very stong for most of it but then our front 4 got exhausted and destroyed. With all our redshirts from last class plus some guys like Willis we will get back to rotating like we used to.

Man I'm just really happy Chavis decided to rotate a lot of guys into the game. I'm sure it was because of ATM up tempo, but I thought all year we weren't rotating enough guys to keep them fresh.

It was nice seeing guys like Debo and Jefferson get in there and make plays. Of course Robinson looked great against one of the most physical wr in the sec. It was also nice to see more blitz packages then we have typically ran this year.

I love the plan to not sit in zone and get some pressure on Manziel. The offense also helped out so much by keeping him off the field.

Robinson has to start, best CB we have. I think Jefferson may have earned a starting spot also, definitely have to get him on the field more

Yeah it was tongue in cheek, kind of.

Honestly, I'd rather him bring the heat than sit back and miss tackles.,, he got decent pressure.

LSU might as well play with 10 players than have welter out there

he freezes as soon as the ball is snapped and is always last to the ball

I find it really funny that I sad RR and White would come in a probably play and got killed for it. Mills and Collins are WAYY better you are an idiot.

I agree Jefferson should be playing.

How many people actually sack Johnny football though? Welter was in the back field more often than not. He played well yesterday. I wouldn't guess minter last year got that many sacks against him either. Just give the guy a little credit. He has sucked most of year though

I feel the same way. I've been as critical of Welter as anyone this season, but he did make a difference yesterday. Welter just getting in the backfield changed JFF's timing here & there.

are you really that dense? Welter on a number of plays got Manziel off point and on a cold, wet and windy day helped to force a lot of difficult and off target throws. the kid deserves credit where credit is due. his pressure led to other players making plays and that was good enough to stifle and frustrate one of the most dangerous qb's we'll ever have to face.
