For being committed to running the ball and keeping the ball away from Manziel and keeping our defense fresh. The offense , particularly the o-line, was challenged to run the ball and be physical. From the first set of downs when LSU ran for a first down on 3rd and 6, they ground down the clock and frustrated Manziel and their offense.

This was a great team effort. Just wanted to point this out because I've seen a lot of love for Chavis(and deservedly so)but the offense was our best defense yesterday.

If people are going to blame Miles for our loses, they better damn well give him credit for how we played yesterday

It's always miles fault when we loose and never any credit when we win.

I would give him credit but perhaps reserve comment to see if he sacks Stud and brings in a quality OL coach. It is clear that even when our OL is good, they can be inconsistent. And that is simply not good enough to win championships.

I have a lot of friends that think like this and I just don't get it. I guess some people have made up their mind that they don't like him and think irrationally to justify it.

I am always astounded at the amount of people in this world who don't know how to spell "lose"

The Miles hate is so irrational. The second you stop caring what all the idiots think about him, the better off your life will be.

Miles is committed to the run every game and tries to run it on every team for most of the game. It worked for A&M and didn't work for Alabama.

Miles is hard headed when it comes to this, he implemented no changes in Bama game even though we couldn't run the ball. Do you think we ran the ball successful against A&M because of the game plan? We had success because they are one of the worst defenses in the country. If A&M would have been beating our arse last night, Miles would still have been trying to run it up the middle.

There are a bunch of Nega-Tigers out there with their tails between their legs. Some of which shouldnt post for awhile. They should be too busy trying to figure out, How can this keep happening? The real toughie may be: How many coaches wouldve had their team ready like this under similar circumstances. Especially the real shitty ones.

All that talk of he has lost the team. Team has nothing to play for and he doesnt have the ability to coach them up for this one. Get used to 5 loss seasons, etc.

Miles had his team ready and prepared. Not many wouldve beaten these Tigers Saturday.

Whats his record after a loss? Nevermind, there's another one they can try to figure out, start with the shitty coaches and go up from there.

Stay Busy boys.

To win in the SEC you have to control the line of scrimmage. Look at Bama, they do it and control the game. They dictate the pace, not the Oregons and Baylors. We did it in 2011.

It's even more important when you have a team averaging 40-50 per game and we ran it 55 times yesterday with only 20 passes. That's likely the highest run/pass ratio of the year for LSU.

It doesn't matter how bad A&Ms defense is. The point is we knew we could run the ball so we did and kept it away from a Heisman winner. We could probably throw for 400 on them, but we didn't because we needed to run clock and that's what we did and that's because our game plan was to control the clock.

I don't like his offensive philsopy. It works when yo physically outmatch your opponent, but when you don't you have to change. I would love to see more 3 or 4 recievers sets on first or second down and some runs off of these formations. But hey we win 10 games and land the remaining top recruits LSU will be looking good for a while.
