I get that a few would like to see Miles coach another year and right the ship before leaving here. But as a business man, this is just complete dumbass thinking. Les can come off crazy as hell at times but nobody walks away from that kind of money. That kind of money sets up generations from now.

There's no benefit to LSU in your proposal. If he was capable of fixing the offense he would have done it years ago. A clean break is better for everyone than a year long deathwatch.

He is gone. Better start accepting it. If he were retained, I believe there would be a mutiny.

There will be plenty more next year....but LSU is definitely a top 3 job out of all those schools, if not THE top job out there....given the talent they already have, and the talent pool to choose from.

I honestly believe Chip Kelly would kill it here, especially if he can get a good DC. He wouldn't run the exact same offense that he ran at Oregon, imo, due to the superior talent LSU has compared to what Oregon had.....but it would be the same philosophy. If Kelly is hired, he would drive Saban absolutely crazy.

A&M in secret talks right now. Once we drop our Bowl game by a close score it will be announced that Les becomes the new A&M Offensive Cordinator.

This has been allowed to fester long enough. We have been in steady decline for several years. We have a number of star quality players, but we have recruited so unevenly that we have gaping holes at a number of positions.

Exactly all these classes are propped up by skill position players. The lack of recruiting Defensive front 7 and the right type of QB has killed LSU year after year since Miles got here.

I think Les should be retained for at least one more year. Secure this recruiting class that fills many needs on the team and if nothing changes next let Les go.

They have recruited many talented QB's including the present one. They can't develop any of them. This is a strong point to get rid of Les.

F*ck that. This will hurt recruiting and it would be painfully awkward.

An approach like that is the reason why LSU football is so mediocre. Business decision will be made with hiring of new coach. Les is done.

Could you imagine Harris, LF, and Guice running wild in space created by Kelly's offense? Could you imagine the stats that LF would have running against defenses that are gassed my the tempo offense. People say it is a finesse offense, but we all now that there is nothing finesse with LF running over DBs.
