The aTm time of possession last year was 26:17. That's 125th out of 128 college football teams.

that's a croc. mack will probably be a good one and their DE is a good one (altho Collins owned him last year). this year sumlin did what he always does, he signed offense players (although he didn't get a power RB). he did get 2 four star safeties but his lone cb was a 3 star. his lb's were juco; maybe they'll be good, maybe not. I just don't know how to evaluate juco's and sumlin signed 4 or 5 of them.
imo, he has improved talent on D but that's not saying much. I think the aggies are, once again, gonna have substandard LB's and DB's. they may have lot's of qb's but they are still gonna be short of top wide outs and their running game should be weak again. he signed 4 4 star OL but they are at least a year away from being top notch.
I believe chavis has his work cut out for him. he probably will improve their D simply because some of their good players have a year's experience now but LSU will have the better D this year.

I Live out here yall, they truly believe John Chavis is the only reason our D was so good. It's like they never heard of Muschamp, Pelini, Reese, Arnsparger, or the freaking Chinese Bandits.
They accredit all of our defensive success to Chavis.
I constantly have to remind them about the names on the back of the jerseys and the 3 letters on the helmet.
