To the LSU Fan (I hope you visit TD) at the Hampton Cove, AL Wal-mart.

Thanks for making my day today and recognizing where Sulphur, LA was. It's nice to know someone in a different place recognizes your home.

It's truly the little things in life that matter (especially when you're behind enemy lines).

it's easy to pick out somebody from sulphur at a walmart. They are fat, pale, and smell like rotten eggs.

Tiger-Kev...I've lived here for 10 years now. Worst 10 years of my life. Been incarcerated in Huntsville Alabama since 2002. Or at least it feels like jail....or is it hell? Probably the same.

How does that make them different from anyone else at Wal-Mart?

Hmmm...I think you have Westlake confused with Sulphur.

It's also easy when they are wearing a SHS Tor hat and T-shirt.

I was all over that area last week making sales calls in Huntsville, Guntersville, Albertville, Gadsden and Attalla.

Glad you liked it. I however do not. I find the people here are fake/phony. The "Southern Hospitality" is more like a "who's who" of dagger throwing and talking behind your back. Everyone is scared of telling you to your face how they feel about things..but they'll go behind your back. I come from oilfield country where people will tell you like it is on Monday..and ask you if you wanna go to lunch on Tuesday. Here..everything is a mind game, nothing genuine.

Huntsville is so new. It isn't like an old southern town with all that charm.

Yep. I get along more with the "Yankees" here..than the people who claim to be "Southern".

I also lived in Hampton Cove (1999-2010). Thought it was a great place, my oldest son still live there. Found most Bama and Aubie fans who live there to be arrogant and obnoxious.
In BR now miss Huntsville traffic.
