Dude's got game. I admire this guy for coming to Baton Rouge basically knowing he'd be in the shadow of LF. Say what you want but the guy has shown me he is on the same level as LF. He'll never get the equivalent amount of carries but I am certainly glad he's in our stable of great backs at RBU.
He ran a little at FB last year. Can we expect a position change? He's money every time he carries.

He's not on the same level as fournette, but he is a good back to rotate in

The thing separating him and Fournette is straight line speed. If we ever decide to use the FB as an offensive weapon for change, true read option, he and Ducre could reek enough havoc to create lots of opportunities. He's a gamer and gonna carry the rock enough to keep him hungry

And power. He measures like he should have Fournette's power, but he doesn't. Maybe it will develop. DW is a very capable backup. If he was the starter, he'd be worse than any other starter of the Miles era.

I disagree on the power compare. DW has at least the power of LF and hits really hard...

Williams will be the main back to carry under Fournette year. When Fournette leaves, I believe he will be the main back his senior year, and get the lions share, if he stays.

See you have guys with speed getting the opposing D to chase them for 3 quarters. Then you come in with Williams, Ducre, and Upchurch and just steam roll an already tired D. Btw don't underestimate Tony Upchurch. From the time I saw high school footage, I always thought he could be a RB. He reminds me of South Carolina's former RB, Marcus Lattimore.
If our QB play is above average, play to our strengths which is running the ball and of course our Defense. We can definitely win a Championship with Above average QB play, Awesome OL with Running Game. I wouldn't be surprised to see an up-tempo Running attack, kind of like Auburn does. And, of course our Awesome Defense/Special Teams.

Pitiful that we insist on using a FB but don't make him an offensive threat, just a key to where the TBs gonna get the ball. No reason a talented FB can't roll up serious yardage which in turn gives the TB some running room on the edge. Need a QB that realizes there's a read part of a read option tho

I won't even read since you can't spell his name correctly. Sad.
