Spoke with Danny at the Manning passing academy and he said he is close to 100% after his back surgery and will be ready to go for fall camp. He said he weighs 219 which may be a little heavier than last year.

If his back was bothering him all last year we may be pleasantly surprised with Etling 2.0

Love his effort, but he needs to slide more often.

This, can't believe he wasn't knocked out of any games last year.

Etling wasn't bad last season, but I'll wager he's the "Most Improved" player on the team this season.

BTW, Brennan seriously needs to get up to this weight as well, but doubt if he can go from 185 to 215/220 in three months. I'm hoping he can get to 200/205 by the time fall camp opens.

Anybody have reports of how he's been progressing since Summer workouts started in early June?

I saw him throwing in the air it out challenge last night. He looked as good as anyone there.

Talked to Brennan for the Supers, he still seems thin.

I think he got hurt when that bama a hole hit him when he was down, no flag by the way

Sliding doesn't help when bama can cheap shot him without a flag.

Myles is still thin but I heard he's gained about 10-15 pounds in the 3 weeks he's been on campus.

I have always been so confused by this. No one every expresses concern if an WR or a DB or a FS weighs 190 to 205 lbs. But if Brennan weighs 195 lbs that is considered way to small to play qb for the tigers. This is stupid. He has the most qb skill's than anyone in camp. Maybe not as much experience yet but certainly more skill. Ask anyone who has seen him throw.
