It's a shame when Danielson can recognize when a true freshman like Reid or Simon is in the game, and even talk a little about their HS recruitment, and Krysan(sp?) on the local post game show admits he had to get a roster to look up Tharold Simon's name and had never heard of him. And Simon has played since the UNC game

Better than fussberger/herbiestreet. But sometimes Danielson gets under my skin.

Sure Verne is senile, but they are the best tandem in college football. Also, when they are calling your game, it generally means the game is meaningful at a national level.

Glad to see this thread.

Danielson is the Vin Scully of college football. He really knows his stuff.

Anyone is better than Mussberger who mumbles through the entire game, you can't even hear his calls over the roar of the crowd. Verne is shite and I hate him, but he's still better than Brent.

I still like Ron Franklin as pbp announcer the best.

Sorry, but I muted the entire 2nd half. Only way I could enjoy the game.

Danielson & Verne called the game ok. We are never going to get equality in comments. The guys are on the fly for most part. Danielson made comments on Drake from his one on one with him during the week. Lee for stepping up during Jefferson injury. He commented when LSU beat Florida with 5 fourth down call from the hat. Verne to me plays the Ed McMahon to Danielson. I find him funny as hell at times. They have all kinds of facts that keeps the flow of the game interesting.
