I'm surprised there isn't a thread about Jennings/Rettig jumping Mettenberger

Be patient. I'm sure there will be one immediately following the first spring practice.

the difference is Mettenberger is a a returning starter, the starters at DE left, so those spots are open.

Hunter is already bigger than both Mingo and Sam. If I had to compare his stature to anyone, it would be Tyson Jackson.

DH put on 15lbs since his recruitment. Anyone think he gets 5-10 more before he plays?

He would be Mingo's size.

I think Hunter will be closer to 265 before it's all over than he will be to playing at Mingo and Sam's size.

Everyone on this topic has completely left out Lewis Neal. He is an absolute beast. He benched 225 21 times, squats over 500lbs, has a extremely high motor, very fast violent hands, and a serious mean streak!!! He is a little short, but has good weight and is far ahead of the other freshman technique wise!!!! he will get playing time this year!!!

Aside from his obvious athleticism, this man's tenacity really is on another level. He's gonna be a beast for sure.
