Forthan is a super special case. I doubt she ever liked basketball more than as a hobby but she was 6'4'' and good at it. Only way a top 5 recruit goes from LSU to West Virginia to Utah to Academy of the Arts with a brief decision to pursue modeling in between.

This. If everything was reported (especially from the local hospitals) that actually happened with her, most of y'all would be calling her a TPOS and saying good riddance. I stopped supporting LSU womens BB last year specifically because of an incident I was involved in with her. Shes a huge racist and thinks because of "You know who I am" she can get away with anything. Guess she was wrong after allm Good riddance.

Our fans have a weird vendetta with Kramer and don't think players can improve their junior and senior seasons. there's really not much else to it other than our fans suck

Well, she's got one year left on the contract. So, I don't think she's going anywhere till this next contract is up. The reality is, if she's able to guide next season's team to a better record than this past season's, she'll be retained. It's just hard for many of us seeing that happening without Ballard on the team.
If Ballard is the person off the court that someone has indicated in this thread then, fine........she needed to go. However, that STILL doesn't stop me from questioning why this staff continues to have problems in recruiting. Not only do you need to recruit talented kids but, you also need to vet them to see if they are hardworking, quality people. I think we're falling short on both accounts. We're not pulling in enough top talent, and the one's we are getting seem to be problems.

I can't see her contract renewed after next season, She has proven the knock on her correct in her lack of recruiting. You can not win without talent, and if she cannot control the team then she cannot win with talent. Discipline has been a big problem with LSU womens BBal teams since Nikki too over. Every year it's one or two players getting suspended. (It bugs the shite out of me that no reasons are made public) On top of that you've got players getting kicked off the team or leaving of their own accord. Something isn't right and Nikki should have a handle on it but I don't think she does.
To some extent it's the coach's job to get these players motivated to keep their shite together and not screw up. I'd bet just about every team in a major school has a player or two that has character issues, you gotta keep a lid on it.
I said it before I think she's the female Trent Johnson. She just don't connect.
Wait till they play in an empty Pmac next year. The last few games I've been to it wasn't far from it figuratively speaking, like 800 maybe?? That looks empty.

Both of those issues are the same thing and it's same 3 players who did that.

Does anyone know where Coco Baker is playing at? Last I heard was Alabama but she isn't listed on the roster. Over the weekend Nikki got a verbal from Louisiana's top 2018 player and she is now in the running for the number 1 recruit for 2018, If she can land her she keeps her job

She didn't even make it to fall at Bama after she signed there. Not sure if she got kicked off or gave up basketball.
